Synopsis : Aravind (Akkineni Nagarjuna), Chandru (Sumanth) and Krishna Murthy (Sudhakar) arechildhood friends and are inseparable. Chandru and Krishna Murthy are orphans, who aregenerously brought up by the parents of Aravind. By the time they reach their 20′s, Aravind’ssister Amrita (Pratyusha) falls in love with Chandru. Chandru hesitates, as she is the sister of hisclose friend Aravind. Aravind and Chandru visit Hyderabad to join Krishna Murthy, who has foundsome work there. When this trio goes for a job of renovating an old palatial house, Aravind meets a cute a girl Padmini (Bhoomika Chawla). Aravind falls in love with Padmini. When Padmini is aboutto get engaged to another guy, Chandru intervenes and announces that Padmini cheated Aravind after loving him. The rest of the film is about how the pairs of Arvind – Padmini and Chandru – Amrita get united in the climax.

‘Mirror Mirror’ Trailer: Sickeningly Kiddie

When Moviefone asked director Tarsem Singh about his Snow White adaptation ‘Mirror Mirror,’ the outspoken director revealed it wasn’t going to be some dark and twisty fairytale, but a film that kids will enjoy. “They asked me if I wanted to make it edgy and I said, ‘No interest, absolutely no interest.’ It’s a children’s movie, but my stuff tends to be polarizing. When it’s for children, it’s like, sickeningly kiddie, and when it’s the other way, it’s sickeningly graphic for people.” If you aren’t a kid, that latter modifier could be used to describe the first trailer for ‘Mirror Mirror,’ a bit of saccharin whimsy sweet enough to cause cavities.


Starring Lily Collins as Snow White, Julia Roberts as a camp version of The Evil Queen and ‘J. Edgar’ star Armie Hammer as the lovestruck prince, ‘Mirror Mirror’ looks like pure kiddie fun. Which is great for kids, and perhaps not-so-great for others. Not to worry, adults: the sweeping action epic ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ will arrive in theaters three months after ‘Mirror Mirror.’

Now that Breaking Bad is off the air for about a year, it’s time to get back to obsessing about the other Great Television Program Of Our Time, Mad Men—something that’s getting easier to obsess over, now that Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner has begun publically discussing how the series will end.  Warning, spoilers will be popping up after the jump.

“In a recent Q&A conducted by Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Jeff Garlin,” Weiner told a Los Angeles audience that “I do know how the whole show ends. It came to me in the middle of last season.”  For those of you who don’t know, Mad Men is set in the 1960s, and concerns the life of Don Draper, a self-made creative director of an ad agency, who must face the changes in turbulent decade, as well as in his family and professional life.  And Weiner states that the show’s end will also concern the end of Draper’s life, adding, “I always felt like it [the series] would be the experience of human life. And human life has a destination.”

No, before you assume this means the series will end with Draper’s death, Weiner was quick to add that “It doesn’t mean Don’s gonna die. What I’m looking for, and how I hope to end the show, is like … It’s 2011. Don Draper would be 84 right now. I want to leave the show in a place where you have an idea of what it meant and how it’s related to you.”  So does this mean Mad Men will end in modern times, and we’ll see a make-up FX aged Draper futzing around in 2011, kind of like the end of Godfather III?  Whatever the case, let’s hope that this is only time we ever have the opportunity to compare Mad Men to Godfather III.

Eric Roth to Write David Fincher’s Cleopatra

First announced this past June , Cleopatra: A Life is moving forward as screenwriter Eric Roth has entered talks to draft the adaptation.

The project arrives from Producer Scott Rudin, who purchased the rights to the biography “Cleopatra: A Life” by Stacy Schiff. Angelina Jolie is attached to play the last of the Egyptian Pharoahs and David Fincher eyeing the project to potentially direct.

The story of Cleopatra has had a long history in Hollywood, including (among others) a lost silent version starring Theda Bara, a 1934 version with Claudette Colbert and, most famously, a 1963 version with Elizabeth Taylor in the title role.
